Aerial Bundled Cable NO steel core
Aerial Bundled Cable NO steel core
An overhead cable (also known as an overhead insulated cable) is an overhead conductor with an insulation layer and a protective sheath. It is a specialized cable manufactured using a production process similar to cross-linked cables, and is a new transmission method between overhead conductors and underground cables. Overhead cables are all single core and can be divided into different structures such as hard aluminum wire structure, hard drawn copper wire structure, aluminum alloy wire structure, steel core or aluminum alloy core support structure, and self-supporting three core corrugated structure (wire core can be hard aluminum or hard copper wire). It has the main characteristics of high power supply reliability, good power supply safety, convenient installation and maintenance, and reasonable economy. Its main technical parameters include weather resistance, insulation level, and inner and outer semiconducting shielding layers. Overhead cables are widely used in power transmission both domestically and internationally
Easy to install and maintain
Overhead cables can be installed on any type of tower, as well as along walls. In special cases, they can also pass through trees and be directly fixed to the poles with metal fittings
Economic benefits
Although overhead cables are slightly more expensive than bare overhead wires, they are more cost-effective compared to ordinary underground installation cables. In the long run, its maintenance cost is lower and its service life is longer。
GENERAL APPLICATIONS:
Cables for overhead power distribution systems mainly for public distribution.
Outdoor installation in overhead lines tightened between supports, lines attached to façades.
Excellent resistance to external agents.
Not suitable for installation directly underground.
